Title

A substitute ordinance relating to a change in zoning from Two-Family Residential to Local Business on land located North of West Fond du Lac Avenue and West of North 37th Street, the former Robinson Middle School, in the 7th Aldermanic District.

Analysis

This zoning change was initiated by the Real Estate Division of the City of Milwaukee on behalf of Milwaukee Public Schools, to allow for various redevelopment options, including conversion to housing or commercial uses.

Body

Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:

 

Section 295-601.2.0036. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for the property located at 3245 North 37th Street bounded and described as follows: That part of Lands and Block 3 of Richard Brews' Subdivision and vacated North 38th Street lying between West Concordia Avenue, West Fond du Lac Avenue and North 37th Street in the Southwest 1/4 Section of Township 7 North, Range 21 East, from Two-Family Residential (RT2) to Local Business (LB2).
