Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts
of the City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of East Burleigh Street from North Pierce Street to North Fratney Street on school days from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On the north side of West Hope Avenue from a point 480 feet west of North 27th Street to North 31st Street”
“On the east side of North Emmber Lane from the Milwaukee River to West Canal Street at any time”
“On the west side of North Emmber Lane from West Canal Street to the Menomonee River Bridge at any time”
“On the east side of North 22nd Street from a point approximately 200 feet north of West Wisconsin Avenue to a point approximately 70 feet further north thereof at any time”
“On the east side of North 22nd Street from a point 120 feet south of West Wells Street to a point 30 feet further south thereof at any time”
“On the west side of North 9th Street from West North Avenue to West Meinecke Avenue at any time”
“On the west side of North 9th Street from the north curb line of West Meinecke Avenue to a point 70 feet north thereof at any time. (6th Ward)”
“On the north side of East Erie Street from C. & N.W. Railway Co. right-of-way west to North Jeffererson Street, at any time”
Part 3. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On North Emmber Lane from the Menomonee River to a point 140 feet south
On the east side of South 27th Street from a point 125 feet south of West Ohio Avenue to a point 70 feet south thereof
On the north side of West Waterford Avenue from a point 330 feet west of South 6th Street to a point 75 feet west thereof
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On the north side of East Erie Street from North Broadway to North Milwaukee Street”
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On North 31st Street from West Kilbourn Avenue to West State Street”
“On West Blue Mound Road between North Hawley Road and North 59th Street”
Part 6. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On East Erie Street from North Broadway to North Milwaukee Street
On the south side of East Erie Street from North Milwaukee Street to East Polk Street
On the north side of East Erie Street from North Jefferson Street to East Polk Street
On the south side of West Blue Mound Road between North Hawley Road and North 59th Street
On West Maple Street from South 3rd Street to South 4th Street
Part 7. Section 101-23-4-e of the Code relating to Three-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the north side of West Blue Mound Road between North Hawley Road and North 59th Street
Part 8. Section 101-23-4-g of the Code relating to Five-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On the north side of West St Paul Avenue between North 5th Street and North 7th Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday and Sunday”
Part 9. Section 101-23-4-h of the Code relating to Ten-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the north side of West St Paul Avenue between North 5th Street and North 7th Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday and Sunday
Part 10. Section 101-23-8-c of the Code relating to Taxi Stands is amended by striking the following:
“On the north side of East Erie Street from a point 90 feet east of the east curb line of North Jackson Street to a point 110 feet east thereof”
Part 11. Section 101-23-10-a of the Code relating to No Parking During Winter Months is amended by striking the following:
“On the south side of East Dakota Street from South Logan Avenue to South Clement Avenue”
Part 12. Section 101-23-10-c of the Code relating to Alternate Monthly No Parking During Winter Months is amended by adding the following:
On East Dakota Street from South Logan Avenue to South Clement Avenue
Part 13. Section 101-26-5-1-b of the Code relating to Snow Parking Regulations - Four or More Inches is amended by adding the following:
On the west side of South 3rd Street from West Lapham Boulevard to West Mitchell Street
Part 14. Section 101-32-3-f-5 of the Code relating to Five-Hour Meter Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On the north side of West St Paul Avenue between North 5th Street and North 7th Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday - Friday”
Part 15. Section 101-32-3-g-2 of the Code relating to Ten-Hour Meter Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On East Erie Street from North Milwaukee Street to North Jefferson Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM except Sunday”
Part 16. Section 101-32-3-g-3 of the Code relating to Ten-Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the north side of West St Paul Avenue between North 5th Street and North 7th Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday - Friday
