Title

Substitute resolution relating to metrics to evaluate the efficacy of the Office of Violence Prevention.

Analysis

This resolution directs the Health Department to provide metrics to evaluate the efficacy of the Office of Violence Prevention. It further directs the Health Department to report these metrics to the Common Council by April 30, 2022.

Body

Whereas, A footnote to the 2022 Adopted Budget for the Health Department expresses the intent to direct the Health Department to provide metrics to evaluate the efficacy of the Office of Violence Prevention; and

 

Whereas, The Common Council must adopt a resolution to implement the intent of this footnote; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Health Department is directed to provide metrics to evaluate the efficacy of the Office of Violence Prevention; and, be it.

 

Further Resolved, The Health Department shall report these metrics to the Common Council by April 30, 2022.
