Title

A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2022 offices and positions in the City Service.

 

Analysis

This substitute ordinance changes the offices and positions in the following departments:

Department of Administration (Information and Technology Management Division), Health Department (Clinical Services Division; Policy, Innovation & Engagement Division; Auxiliary COVID-19 Positions)

 

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1.  Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 210761 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

 

Under “Department of Administration, Information and Technology Management Division”, add footnote “(PP)” to read as follows:

 

 “(PP)                     To expire 07/31/22 unless the LRN Data Integration Grant is extended.”

 

Under “Information Services Section”, add footnote designation “(PP)” to one position of “IT Support Specialist”.

 

Under “Health Department, Clinical Services Division”, add footnotes “(LL)” and “(PP)” to read as follows:

 

“(LL)                     To expire 06/30/24 unless the Immunization Cooperative Agreement Grant is extended.”

 

 “(PP)                     To expire 07/31/22 unless the LRN Data Integration Grant is extended.”

 

Under “Disease Control & Prevention”, add footnote designation “(LL)” as follows to one position of “Public Health Nurse Coordinator (X)(G)(P)(DD)(HH)(A)”, one position of “Public Health Nurse Supervisor (A)(P)(X)(Y)”, and one position of “Program Assistant II (X)(A)(DD)”.

 

Under “Laboratory”, add footnote designation “(PP)” to one position of “Laboratory Information Systems Specialist”, one position of “Laboratory Data Specialist (D)(AA)”, one position of “Microbiologist Lead (AA)”, one position of “Microbiologist Senior (X)(BB)”, one position of “Public Health Laboratory Operations Manager (Y)(X)”, and one position of “Program Assistant I (S)(X)(AA)”.

 

Under “Policy, Innovation & Engagement Division”, add footnote “(OO)” to read as follows:

 

“(OO)                     To expire 06/30/23 unless the Public Health Workforce Grant is extended.”

 

Under “Community Health Planning and Coordination”, add one position of “Health Economist (X)(Y)(OO)”.

 

Under “Auxiliary COVID-19 Positions”, add ten positions of “Temporary Disease Intervention Specialist Supervisor (SS)”, twenty positions of “Temporary Disease Intervention Specialist Coordinator (SS)”, two positions of “Temporary Delivery Driver (SS)”, and footnote “(SS)” to read as follows:

 

“(SS)                     To expire 12/31/24 unless the ARPA Recovery Fund Grant is extended.”

 

Part 2.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

 

The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication.

 

Part 3.  This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
