Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and
Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:
2nd, 7th and 10th Aldermanic Districts
N. 60th St. - W. Burleigh St. to W. Capitol Dr. (SM499190017) File Number 210060: Stormwater trees. (Nonassessable Water Quality Fund -- additional funds, $100,000.) The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $430,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.
10th Aldermanic District
W. Burleigh St. -- W. Lisbon Ave. to W. Appleton Ave. (SM499190018) File Number 210060: Stormwater trees. (Nonassessable Water Quality Fund -- additional funds, $100,000.) The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $170,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.

W. Morgan Ave. - S. 75th St. to S. Honey Creek Dr. (SM499200014) File Number 210060: Installing Biolswales. (Nonassessable Water Quality Fund -- additional funds, $115,000.) The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $400,800. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.
City Wide
Sealcoating of various streets by contract (ST211210138) File. No. 201273 (Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- additional funds, $5,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $555,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2021 construction season.
now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Department of Public Works is authorized to use the funding as specified in the above description of work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
