Resolution determining it necessary to make various nonassessable public improvements at various locations and appropriating funds for these purposes with the City engineering cost estimated to be $207,000 for a total estimated cost of these projects being $2,328,000.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council. The City cost for engineering these projects is estimated to be $207,000 with the total cost estimated to be $2,328,000.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:
1st Aldermanic District
Area Bounded By - N. Green Bay Ave. to N. 25th St. and W. Villard Ave. to W. Silver Spring Dr. (SM494210010). Sanitary Sewer lining. (Infiltration/Inflow Reduction Fund -- $55,000). The total estimated cost of this project is $731,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.
2nd Aldermanic District
Area Bounded By - W. Glendale Ave. to W. Congress St. and N. 71st St. to N. 66th St. (SM494210011) Sanitary Sewer lining. (Infiltration/Inflow Reduction Fund -- $55,000). The total estimated cost of this project is $232,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.
3rd Aldermanic District
E. Webster Pl. - N. Maryland Ave. to N. Prospect Ave. (SM495210077) Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund-- $12,000). The total estimated cost of this project is $132,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.
4th Aldermanic District
Alley 180’ north of W. Kilbourn Ave. - N. 26th St. to 180’ west of N. 26th St. (SM495210070) Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund-- $10,000). The total estimated cost of this project is $66,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.
7th Aldermanic District
W. Burleigh St. - N. 21st St. to N. 23rd St. (SM495210072) Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund-- $12,000). The total estimated cost of this project is $151,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.
N. 23rd St. - W. Chambers St. to W. Burleigh St. (SM495210071) Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund-- $12,000). The total estimated cost of this project is $181,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.
8th and 12th Aldermanic District
S. 20th St.-W. Becher St. to W. Grant St. (SM495210076) Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund-- $12,000). The total estimated cost of this project is $170,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.
13th Aldermanic District
S. 20th St. - W. Wilbur Ave. to W. Crawford Ave. (SM495210074) Relaying storm sewer. Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund-- $15,000). The total estimated cost of this project is $324,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.
15th Aldermanic District
W. Hadley St. - N. 25th St. to N. 27th St. (SM4955210075) Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund-- $12,000). The total estimated cost of this project is $170,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.
N. 16th St.-535’ south of W. North Ave. to W. North Ave. (SM495210073) Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund-- $12,000). The total estimated cost of this project is $171,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.

Further Resolved, That all City Departments are authorized to perform engineering, surveys, plan preparation, and determine an estimated cost thereof; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Department of Public Works is authorized to use the funding as specified in the above description of work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
