This resolution authorizes acceptance of Sewer and Water Easements in Pulaski Park between West Cleveland Avenue and South 16th Street, in the 12th Aldermanic District.
Body
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee (“City”) requests an easement needed for sewer and water located within Pulaski Park; and
Whereas, said easement areas are in lands owned by Milwaukee County; and
Whereas, The land-owner is willing to grant said easements to the City giving the City permission to enter the properties to construct, operate, maintain, inspect, repair, enlarge, reconstruct, replace, and relocate, as the City deems necessary, the sewer and water facilities within the easement areas on terms and conditions negotiated by the City’s Department of Public Works, as reflected in the easement documents that have been made part of this file; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officials, including the DPW Commissioner, are hereby authorized: (i) to sign Sewer and Water Easement in the form and substance submitted to this file (or in substantially the same form and substance as submitted, and to effectuate the intent of this resolution); and (ii) to cause the same to be recorded in the Milwaukee County Register of Deeds Office.
