Body
Whereas, Riverworks Development Corporation, Inc. (Riverworks) located at 3334 North Holton Street, desires to construct stormwater management facilities on its property and on the adjacent city owned parcel known as the Riverwest Bike Trial (City); and
Whereas, The above-mentioned parcels are contiguous and City and Riverworks are each willing to grant to and obtain from the other, an easement for the mutual benefit of the Riverworks and City: and
Whereas, The easement agreement allows Riverworks and City to discharge storm water over and across the Riverworks premises and the City premises, as applicable, to existing and proposed storm sewers located on either or both the Riverworks premises and the City premises as specifically described in the easement agreement; now, therefore, be it;
Resolved, by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officials, including the Commissioner of Public Works, are hereby authorized: (i) to sign Drainage Easement Agreement in the form and substance submitted to this file (or in substantially the same form and substance as submitted, and to effectuate the intent of this resolution); and (ii) to cause the same to be recorded in the Milwaukee County Register of Deeds Office.
