Analysis

This Resolution authorizes the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee to enter into a lease with ABM Onsite Services-Midwest, Inc. for 401-441 West Wisconsin Avenue.

Body

Whereas, The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee (“RACM”) owns the property at 401-441 West Wisconsin Avenue (the “Property”) in the City of Milwaukee and ABM Onsite Services-Midwest, Inc. (“ABM”) has been a long-term tenant and operator of the parking lot there; and

 

Whereas, RACM and ABM wish to replace the 2013 existing lease between them, as amended, with the new lease that the parties negotiated and that has been submitted to this file, and which provides for ABM making $100,000 in improvements to the Property; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee (“Common Council”), that it approves the proposed lease; and, subject to RACM Board approval, the Common Council also approves RACM officials taking such actions as may be necessary to effectuate the intent of this resolution and the transaction contemplated hereby, including execution of the lease, or of a lease in substantial conformity to the lease that was submitted to this file.
