Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Department of Public Works to enter into an agreement accepting the donation of one bicycle rack from the Kegel Foundation, Inc., to be installed and maintained by the City on the sidewalk adjacent to Museum Center Park at 910 E Michigan Street.
Body
Whereas, Section 304-24 of the Code of Ordinances regulates the receipt, appropriation, and expenditure of contributions received by the City; and
Whereas, The Kegel Foundation, Inc. has agreed to donate one bicycle rack to the City; and
Whereas, The intent of this agreement between the City and the Kegel Foundation, Inc. is to provide additional bicycle facilities for City residents; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Department of Public Works is authorized to enter into an agreement with the Kegel Foundation, Inc., in substantially the same form as attached to this file, for the receipt of a bike rack to be installed and maintained by the City on the sidewalk adjacent to Museum Center Park at 910 E Michigan Street.
