Body
Whereas, A project agreement has been requested and received from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) to be executed by the City of Milwaukee for the programming, design, real estate, and construction of North 20th Street (STH 57) from North Avenue to Hopkins Street, with Federal and State aid under the State Highway Rehabilitation Program, in accordance with Common Council Resolution File Number 171655, adopted April 4, 2018; and

Whereas, The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has transmitted for our signature a revised project agreement for the North 20th Street (STH 57) from North Avenue to Hopkins Street roadway improvement project, that revises the grant dollars for design, real estate, and construction; and

Whereas, The Department of Public Works shall notify the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee of project cost overruns and changes in scope approved by the Department of Public Works; and

Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee recognizes that the City may be 100 percent liable for project cost overruns and changes in scope as approved by the Department of Public Works; and
