Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the
City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On the north side of West Waterford Avenue from South 70th Street to a point 40 feet west”
“On the west side of South 9th Street from the south line of the first east-west alley north of West Mitchell Street to the south line of the second east-west alley further north at any time”
“On the east side of North 25th Street from the south line of West Wells Street to a point 60 feet south thereof”
“On the west side of South 70th Street from West Waterford Avenue from to a point 40 feet north”
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of West Mitchell Street from a point 800 feet west to a point 75 feet west thereof
On the south side of West Mitchell Street from a point 1100 feet west to a point 92 feet west thereof
On West St Paul Avenue from a point 390 feet west of North 15th Street to a point 50 feet west thereof from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday
On the east side of North 24th Place from West Capitol Drive to a point 135 feet north
On the east side of North 25th Street from West Wells Street to a point 150 feet south
Part 3. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On the west side of South 9th Street from the north line of the second east-west alley north of West Mitchell Street to West Lapham Street from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM”
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the west side of South 9th Street from the north line of the east-west alley north of West Mitchell Street to West Lapham Boulevard from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Sunday
