Analysis
This resolution authorizes the lease of Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee-owned property according to the conditions in a Land Disposition Report pursuant to Wis. Stat. 66.1333 (9).
Body
Whereas, Cream City Farms LLC (“Tenant”) desires to lease Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee (“RACM”)-owned property for a commercial farming enterprise as summarized in a Land Disposition Report, a copy of which is attached to this Common Council file; and
Whereas, The Department of City Development ("DCD") has reviewed the lease terms and prepared the Land Disposition Report and recommended approval of same to the RACM Board; and
Whereas, The RACM Board considered this matter and approved RACM’s lease to Tenant per the Land Disposition Report; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Common Council also approves the Land Disposition Report and RACM’s lease to the Tenant of the RACM-owned property at 2055 North 30th Street as per the terms and conditions in the Land Disposition Report; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the lease proceeds shall be credited to the appropriate fund at the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee.
