Body
Whereas, the Department of Administration uses its Reimbursable Services Advance Fund for several purposes, including billing for telephone services, network costs, parking communications and IT purchases; and
Whereas, utilization of the Department of Administration’s 2021 Reimbursable Services Advance Fund expenditures have been higher than anticipated due to an increased level of purchases for the Fire and Police Commission Emergency Communications project; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that $2,000,000 be and hereby is appropriated from the 2021 Reimbursable Services Advance Fund to the Department of Administration; and, be it
Further Resolved, That this appropriation is in addition to the $2,000,000 appropriated to the Department of Administration by Common Council Resolution 200997; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to establish the necessary accounts and accounting procedures to carry out the intent of this resolution; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the procedures for handling and advancing funds in anticipation of reimbursable revenue be in accordance with those set forth in Common Council File 80-1513.
