Title
A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2021 offices and positions in the City Service.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance changes the offices and positions in the following departments:

Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 200537 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under “Health Department, Clinical Services Division”, add footnote “(S)” to read as follows:
“(S) To expire 9/14/21 unless the 2020-2021 COVID-19 Sequencing Grant is extended.”
Under “Laboratory”, add footnote designation “(S)” to one position of “Microbiologist” and one position of “Program Assistant 1 (X)”.
Part 2. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 200537 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2020 - December 29, 2019):
Under “Health Department, Office of the Commissioner and Health Administration, Finance & Administration”, delete two positions of “Accounting Program Assistant III (X)” and add two positions of “Health Accounting Assistant (X)”.
Part 3. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 200537 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2021 - December 27, 2020):
Under “Common Council - City Clerk, Central Administration Division”, delete one position of “Management Trainee” and add one position of “Workforce Grant Specialist”.
Part 4. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 200537 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 14, 2021 - June 27, 2021):
Under “Health Department, Community Health Division, Empowering Families of Milwaukee (EFM)”, delete three positions of “Health Project Assistant (E) (X)” and add three positions of “Fatherhood Involvement Specialist 3 (E) (X)”.
Part 5. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 6. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2020 (December 29, 2019).
Part 7. The provisions of Part 3 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2021 (December 27, 2020).
Part 8. The provisions of Part 4 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 14, 2021 (June 27, 2021).
The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication.
Part 9. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
