Body
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (Housing Authority) solicited sealed bids by Official Notice Number 58015 during the period April 7, 2021 through April 23, 2021 for Public Construction Phase 4A Site Lighting at Westlawn Gardens Phase 2; and

WHEREAS, one sealed bid was received by the deadline of 2:00 PM (CDST) on April 23, 2021; and

WHEREAS, the sealed bid was received and publicly opened on April 23, 2021, during which the bidding procedure was conducted in compliance with the requirements of local, state, and federal regulations; and

WHEREAS, Hurt Electric Inc., a qualified and competent bidder, submitted the lowest responsive and responsible bid in the amount of $251,800.00; therefore, be it,

RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of the Housing Authority that they hereby authorize and approve accepting the bid of and entering into a contract with Hurt Electric Inc. for Public Construction Phase 4A Site Lighting at Westlawn Gardens Phase 2; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that funds for these services will come from the Housing Authority’s Central Office Cost Center (COCC), Capital Fund Program (CFP), and the City of Milwaukee; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of the Housing Authority be and hereby are authorized and directed to properly execute said contract for and on behalf of the Housing Authority; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that if any change orders including the time of performance are needed, the Chairman and Secretary-Executive Director may approve such request without any further action of the Commissioners of the Housing Authority; and, be it
