Whereas, The plaintiffs, Jason B. Ermi and Ronda Ermi, have commenced a lawsuit against the City seeking damages for injuries sustained on July 19, 2017 in an explosion at the City’s compressed natural gas fueling station at 3921 W. Lincoln Avenue;
Whereas, A settlement favorable to all parties has been reached; and
Whereas, The City Attorney recommends and the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee deems it expeditious and just to settle this lawsuit; now, therefore, be it
Resolved by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officers be and hereby are authorized and directed to issue a City check in the amount of $50,000.00, payable to the order of the Law Offices of Joseph F. Owens, LLC Client Trust Account as soon as practicable, said amount to be charged to (DA)636506-0001-1490-2631-S118.
