Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council. The City cost for engineering these projects is estimated to be $102,000 with the total cost estimated to be $937,000.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:
2nd Aldermanic District
N. 70th St. - W. Hope Ave. to W. Congress St. and W. Congress St. - N. 68th St. to N. 70th St. (SM495210033) Installing new sanitary sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund - $70,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $770,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2021 construction season.
4th Aldermanic District
N. 24th Pl. - 230’+/- S. of W. McKinley Av. to W. McKinley Av. (SM495210035) Combined sewer relay. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund - $10,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $70,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.

N. 36th St. - 310’+/- S. of W. Chambers St. to W. Chambers St. (SM495210034) Combined sewer relay. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund - $12,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $87,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2022 construction season.

N. 60th St. - W. Vliet St. to W. Wright St. (sponsored by the City of Wauwatosa) (ST211210201) crackfilling (Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving fund -- $10,000) The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $10,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2021 construction season.

Further Resolved, That all City Departments are authorized to perform engineering, surveys, plan preparation, and determine an estimated cost thereof; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Department of Public Works is authorized to use the funding as specified in the above description of work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
