Substitute resolution relative to legislative bills.

Whereas, The Judiciary and Legislation Committee of the Common Council has recommended the following positions on the bills hereinafter listed and the Common Council being advised of said matters; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it hereby approves the following legislative bill and instructs the Division of Intergovernmental Relations to appear before the proper committees in opposition to such bills and use its best endeavors to have the same enacted into law, viz:

 

 AB-192/SB-203                                          

Relating to: the secure delivery of absentee ballots and providing a penalty.

 

AB-180/SB-206                                          

Relating to: status as an indefinitely confined voter for purposes of receiving absentee ballots automatically and providing a penalty.

 

AB-177/SB-209
