A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2021 offices and positions in the City Service.

 

Analysis

This substitute ordinance changes the offices and positions in the following departments:

Department of Administration (Office of the Director), Health Department, Department of Public Works (Infrastructure Services Division, Water Works)

 

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1.  Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 200537 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

 

Under “Health Department, Policy, Innovation & Engagement Division”, amend footnote “(I)” to read as follows:

 

“(I)                     To expire 9/30/21 unless the Preventive Health Grant is extended.”

 

Part 2.  Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 200537 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2021 - December 27, 2020):

 

Under “Department of Administration, Office of the Director, Office of Equity and Inclusion”, delete one position of “Business Analyst - Sr. (A) (Y)” and add one position of “Business Inclusion Program Coordinator (A) (Y)”.

 

Part 3.  Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 200537 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 7, 2021 - March 21, 2021):

 

Under Department of Public Works - Infrastructure Services Division, Transportation Infrastructure Decision Unit, Street Maintenance”, delete one position of “Street & Bridges Services Manager (X)” and add one position of “Street Services Manager (X)”.

 

Part 4.  Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 200537 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 8, 2021 - April 4, 2021):

 

Under “Department of Public Works-Water Works, Plants-North Organization, Linwood and North Water Production”, delete one position of “Water Plant HVAC Maintenance Technician” and add one position of “Water Plant Steamfitter-HVACR Mechanic”.

 

Under “Plants-South Organization, Howard and South Water Production”, delete one position of “Water Plant HVAC Maintenance Technician” and add one position of “Water Plant Steamfitter-HVACR Mechanic”.

 

Part 5.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

 

Part 6.  The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2021 (December 27, 2020).

 

Part 7.  The provisions of Part 3 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 7, 2021 (March 21, 2021).

 

Part 8.  The provisions of Part 4 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 8, 2021 (April 4, 2021).

 

The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication.

 

Part 9.  This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
