Body

Whereas, In 1923, the City of Milwaukee constructed a 15-inch diameter combined sewer in the vacated alley between North Old World 3^rd Street and West Vel R Phillips Avenue from  241’ +/- South of West State Street to West State Street; and

Whereas, The land is now owned by JS 1924, LLC (the condominium unit 1 owner)and JS1962 Holdings, LLC (the condominium unit 2 owner) (the condominium being the one created by the Declaration of Condominium of the Amended and Restated Journal Square Condominium); and

Whereas, The said sewer no longer serves the public interest; and

Whereas, JS 1924, LLC and JS1962 Holdings, LLC, as the respective unit 1 and unit 2 owners, have agreed to accept ownership of said sewer, therefore be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officers are hereby authorized to execute the Quit Claim Deed document (QCD-2902), in the form and substance submitted to this file (or in substantially the same form and substance as submitted, and to effectuate the intent of this resolution) and to cause the same to be recorded in the Milwaukee County Register of Deeds Office.
