Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a project agreement titled “Cost Sharing Memo of Understanding Between the City of Milwaukee and the City of Wauwatosa” for the cost sharing of the street reconstruction projects of North 60th Street between West Wells Street and West Valley Forge Drive and between West McKinley Avenue and West Vliet Street in the 10th Aldermanic District with a total estimated cost of the project to be $520,000 which the City’s share is estimated to be $310,000 and the balance to be City of Wauwatosa.

Whereas, N.60th St. - W. Wells St. to W. Valley Forge Dr. was resurfaced in 1978 and is in need of reconstruction; and
Whereas, N. 60th St. - W. McKinley Av. to W. Vliet St. was resurfaced in 1985 and is in need of reconstruction; and
Whereas, The projects are included in the Department of Public Works street resurface/ reconstruction Program; and
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee and the City of Wauwatosa share jurisdiction ownership of the streets and will share the construction costs; and
Whereas, The City of Wauwatosa will be the lead agency of the project design and construction; and
Whereas, These street projects are programmed for construction in 2021; and
Whereas, the engineering for the N. 60th St. projects was set up in Resolutions 171478 and 181587, and
Whereas, Funding for the construction phase of the North 60th Street projects was set up in resolution 201137, and
