Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and
Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:
1st Aldermanic District
W. Custer Av. - N. 13th St. to N. Green Bay Av. (Sponsored by the City of Glendale) (ST211190103) File Number 181382: Asphalt pavement resurfacing, replace ADA ramps as necessary (Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $121,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $136,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2021 construction season.
W. Custer Av. - N. Dexter Av. to N. 27th St. (Sponsored by the City of Glendale) Including the intersection of N. 25th St. and W. Rohr Av. (ST211190104) File Number 181382: Asphalt pavement resurfacing, replace ADA ramps as necessary (Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $110,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $125,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2021 construction season.

This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2021 construction season.

2021 Bioretention Maintenance Contract (SM499210004) File Number 201345: (Storm Water Quality - Nonassessable Water Quality Projects to meet TMDL Requirements -- $315,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $355,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2021 construction season.
2021 Sanitary Manhole Inspections (SM494210001) File Number 201139: Infiltration/inflow reduction. (Infiltration/Inflow Reduction Fund -- $188,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $200,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2021 construction season.

2021 Sewer Work Prior To Paving (SM495210500) File Number 201139: . (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $1,480,000. The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $1,500,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2021 construction season.
Chip sealing of various streets by contract (ST211180171):File Number 171479 (Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund --$2,800 additional funds). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $22,800. This work is completed and the funds are needed to close out the project.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Department of Public Works is authorized to use the funding as specified in the above description of work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
