Title

A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2021 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service.

 

Analysis

This substitute ordinance changes the rates of pay in the following departments:  City Attorney and Election Commission

 

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

 

 

Part 1.  Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 200536 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows: (Pay Period 1, 2021 (December 27, 2020)

 

Under Pay Range 2MX add the title ‘Risk Manager (4) (10).

 

 

Part 2.  Part 1, Section  9 of ordinance File Number 200536 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows: (Pay Period 4, 2021 (February 7, 2021)

 

Under Pay Range 9AN

Delete footnote (2) and replace as follows:

 

(2) Pending the carryover approval of the 2020 CTCL- Safe Vote Election grant, Election Inspectors to be paid an additional $100 per day for the February 16, 2021 and April 6, 2021 elections per the Center for Tech and Civic Life grant for planning and implementing a safe and secure election administration in the City of Milwaukee in accordance with the Wisconsin Safe Voting Plan 2020

 

Under Pay Range 9DN

Delete footnote (2) and replace as follows:

Part 3.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

 

Part 4.  The provisions of part 1 this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2021 - December 27, 2020.

 

The provisions of part 2 this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 4, 2021 - February 7, 2021.

 

Part 5.  This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
