This resolution authorizes the creation of the Alert Neighbor Program special fund (R172) and carryover and transfer of $150,000 from the Office of the Common Council - City Clerk’s 2020 salaries account into the 2021 Alert Neighbor Program special fund.

Whereas, The Common Council would like to create a special fund account titled Alert Neighbor Program; and
Whereas, The Alert Neighbor Program goal is the help connect neighbors and make neighborhoods safer; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the City Comptroller is directed to carryover $150,000 from the 2020 Office of the Common Council - City Clerk’s Salary Account (1310-R999-006000-2020) to the 2021 Office of the Common Council - City Clerk’s Salary Account (1310-R999-006000-2021).
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is directed transfer $150,000 from the 2021 Office of the Common Council - City Clerk’s Salary Account (1310-R999-006000-2021) to the 2021 into the Alert Neighbor Program special fund account (0001-1310-R172-006300-2021).
