A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2021 offices and positions in the City Service.

 

Analysis

This substitute ordinance changes the offices and positions in the following departments: Mayor’s Office; Library; Mayor’s Office and Department of Public Works - Water Works

 

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1.  Section 1 of ordinance File Number 200537 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows: (Effective Pay Period 1, 2020 - December 29, 2019)

 

Under Department of Public Works - Water Works, Business Organization, Administration, delete one position of “Administrative Assistant III” and add one position of “Administrative Services Coordinator.”

 

Part 2.  Section 1 of ordinance File Number 200537 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows: Effective Pay Period 2, 2021 - January 10, 2021)

 

Under the Library, Administrative Services Decision Unit, Facilities and Fleet Section, delete one position of “Facilities Manager (X) (Y)”, one position of “Facilities Maintenance Supervisor (X) (Y)” and add one position of “Library Facilities Manager (X) (Y)” and one position of  “Library Maintenance Supervisor (X) (Y)”.

 

Part 3.  Section 1 of ordinance File Number 200537 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

 

Under Mayor’s Office, add footnote designation “Y” to the titled “Director of Communications and Public Engagement.”

 

Under Department of Public Works, Water Works, add footnote designation “Y” to the title “Water Plant Operations Manager.”

 

Part 4.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

 

Part 5.  The provisions part 1 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2020 (December 29, 2019).

 

The provisions part 1 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Effective Pay Period 2, 2021 (January 10, 2021).

 

The provisions of all other parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication.

 

Part 6.  This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
