This resolution. authorizes the payment of the claim of Perminder Rehal for property damage in the amount of $1,100.00

Body

Whereas, The claimant, Perminder Rehal (CI File No. 1029-2020-708), filed a claim for damages to her basement on March 12, 2020 against the City of Milwaukee ; and

Whereas, The Judiciary and Legislation Committee on December 7, 2020 heard from the claimant and the department and voted by four (4) ayes and one (1) no to pay $1,100.00 toward Ms. Rehal’s claim of $2,209.48; now, therefore be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper city officials be and hereby are authorized to issue a check in the amount of $1.100.00, payable to Perminder Rehal, 410 S. 87^th St., Milwaukee WI  53214 in full and final settlement of said claim, said amount to be charged to the Damages and Claims Fund, Account No. 636505, Fund No. 0001, Organization No. 1490, Program No. 2632, Sub Class No. S118.
