Analysis
This resolution authorizes easements for below and above ground sewer infrastructure on City-owned and Redevelopment Authority-owned properties.
Body
Whereas, Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (“MMSD”) is requesting both a permanent infrastructure easement and a temporary construction easement (“Easements”) on each of the following five properties owned by the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee (“RACM”): 4101 North 31st Street, 3055 West Hopkins Street, 3025 West Hopkins Street, 3010 West Hopkins Street, and 2900 West Hopkins Street collectively (“RACM Parcels”); and
Whereas, MMSD is requesting Easements on the following property owned by the City of Milwaukee (“City”): 3100 West Capitol Drive (“City Parcel”); and
Whereas, The Easements will facilitate sewer infrastructure improvements as part of MMSD’s Project ID I06001 NS12 Collector System Improvements; and
Whereas, The sizes and locations of the Easements are shown on the acquisition plat attached to this Common Council File; and
Whereas, Copies of the Easements are attached to this Common Council File; and
Whereas, MMSD agrees to pay $1,200 for the Easements on the City Parcel and $6,600 for the Easements on the RACM Parcels; and
Whereas, On November 19, 2020 RACM will meet to review and take action on MMSD’s request for the Easements on the RACM Parcels; and
