Analysis

This resolution amends Common Council File Number 200198 adopted on June 16, 2020, to reflect additional Active Streets for Businesses guidelines for fall and winter.

Body

Whereas, The Common Council adopted Resolution File Number 200198 on June 16, 2020, approving the Active Streets for Businesses program; and

Whereas, The Active Streets for Businesses program has been instrumental in allowing businesses to function safely during the COVID-19 pandemic; and

Whereas, As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, additional guidelines have been developed for businesses on active streets during the fall and winter months; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Common Council File Number 200198 is amended by revising the “resolved” clause as follows:

“Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Milwaukee Active Streets for Businesses program, in substantially the same form as attached to this file, >>and with the fall and winter guidelines attached to File Number 200859,<< is approved.
