This ordinance changes the annual rent amount in the airspace lease attached to Common Council File Number 191619 from $14,900.00 to $1,340.00.

Whereas, On July 7, 2020, the Common Council passed File Number 191619, an ordinance granting an air space lease to Third Ward Lofts, LLC, for a portion of the building to overhang the adjacent sidewalk for the premises at 323 North Jefferson Street (4th Aldermanic District); and

Whereas, The AIRSPACE LEASE BETWEEN THE CITY OF MILWAUKEE AND THIRD WARD LOFTS, LLC FOR A BUILDING OVERHANG that is attached to Common Council File Number 191619 specifies, in Section 3 (“Rental”) on page 3, an annual rental payment of $14,900.00 by the lessee; and

Whereas, This rental payment has been recalculated and should be set at $1,340.00 annually; now, therefore

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1. The AIRSPACE LEASE BETWEEN THE CITY OF MILWAUKEE AND THIRD WARD LOFTS, LLC FOR A BUILDING OVERHANG that is attached to and approved by Common Council File Number 191619 is revised to provide, in Section 3 (“Rental”) on page 3, an annual rental payment in the amount of $1,340.00

 

Part 2.                     .This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
