Analysis

This resolution rescinds the overnight parking portion of the proclamation of Mayor Tom Barrett, issued March 19, 2020, relating to a state of emergency in the City of Milwaukee.

 

Body

Whereas, On March 19, 2020, Mayor Tom Barrett issued a proclamation which included temporarily suspending the enforcement of the following timed, metered, and night parking regulations: ss. 101-27, 101-23-4-(am-j), and 101-32; and

 

Whereas, On March 24, 2020, the Common Council passed Resolution File Number 191907, which ratified the Mayor’s proclamation and added a provision relating to licensing; and

 

Whereas, The overnight parking portion of the Mayor’s proclamation relating to s. 101-27 is no longer necessary; now, therefore, be it 

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the overnight parking portion of the proclamation of Mayor Tom Barrett, issued March 19, 2020, as approved by the Common Council in File Number 191907, relating to a state of emergency in the City of Milwaukee is rescinded as of November 2, 2020.
