Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Commissioner of Public Works and Comptroller to execute two State Municipal Agreements with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the installation of traffic signal improvements and to fund preliminary engineering for two projects at various intersections in various Aldermanic Districts. Whereas, Preliminary approval has been requested and received from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, along with two State Municipal Agreements to be executed by the City of Milwaukee, for the installation of traffic signal improvements under the 2022 Congestion Mitigation Air Quality program; and

Whereas, The installation of traffic signal improvements at various intersections will reduce congestion and vehicle emissions throughout the project areas; and

Whereas, The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has submitted two State Municipal Agreements for execution by the City of Milwaukee for the design and construction of:
