Title
A substitute ordinance relating to traffic controls.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned traffic requirements in various parts of the City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-9-1 of the Code relating to Prohibited Pedestrian Crossings is amended by striking the following:
“The west crosswalk at West State Street and North 7th Street”
Part 2. Section 101-13-1 of the Code relating to 25 mph Speed Limits is amended by adding the following:
East Center Street between North Holton Street and North Humboldt Boulevard 25mph
South Howell Avenue between South Kinnickinnic Avenue and East Oklahoma Avenue 25mph
Part 3. Section 101-13-8 of the code relating to School Speed 20 MPH is amended by striking the following:
“On East Center Street from North Palmer Street to North Buffum Street”
“On East Center Street from North Humboldt Boulevard to North Pierce Street”
“On South Howell Avenue from East Dover Street to East Russell Avenue”
“On South Howell Avenue from East Montana Street to East Gauer Circle”
Part 4. Section 101-15 of the Code relating to Yield signs is amended by adding the following:
On West Burdick Avenue at South 63rd Street
Part 5. Section 101-16-1 of the Code relating to Stop signs is amended by adding the following:
On South 1st Street at West Morgan Avenue
