A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the
City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by striking the following:
“On the north side of West Wisconsin Avenue from North Plankinton Avenue to North Old World Third Street from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday”
“On the north side of West Wisconsin Avenue from North 4th Street to North 8th Street from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday”
“On the south side of West Wisconsin Avenue from North Plankinton Avenue to North 8th Street from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday”
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On East Wisconsin Avenue from North Water Street to North Cass Street from 2:00 AM to 10:00 AM”
“On the north side of West Wisconsin Avenue from North Plankinton Avenue to North Old World Third Street from 2:00 AM to 7:00 AM Monday through Friday”
“On the north side of West Wisconsin Avenue from North 4th Street to North 8th Street from 2:00 AM to 7:00 AM Monday through Friday”
“On the south side of West Wisconsin Avenue from North Plankinton Avenue to North 8th Street from 2:00 AM to 7:00 AM Monday through Friday”
“On the east side of South 39th Street from West Ohio Avenue to West Holt Avenue at any time Except Buses”
Part 3. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of North Van Buren Street from East Pleasant Street to a point 55 feet north
On the east side of North 57th Street north of West Vliet Street to a point 30 feet north
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On West Wisconsin Avenue from North Plankinton Avenue to North 8th Street except when no parking and meter parking is in effect”
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the north side of East Wisconsin Avenue from North Water Street to North Cass Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On the south side of East Wisconsin Avenue from North Water Street to North Jefferson Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On the south side of East Wisconsin Avenue from North Jackson Street to North Cass Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On the north side of West Wisconsin Avenue from North Plankinton Avenue to North Old World Third Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On the north side of West Wisconsin Avenue from North Vel R. Phillips Avenue to North 8th Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On the south side of West Wisconsin Avenue from North Plankinton Avenue to North 8th Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On the east side of North 63rd Street from a point 66 feet south of West Blue Mound Road to a point 70 feet south thereof from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Part 6. Section 101-24-1 of the Code relating to Tow-Away Zones is amended by striking the following:
“On the north side of West Wisconsin Avenue from North Plankinton Avenue to North Old World Third Street from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday”
“On the north side of West Wisconsin Avenue from North 4th Street to North 8th Street from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday”
“On the south side of West Wisconsin Avenue from North Plankinton Avenue to North 8th Street from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday”
Part 7. Section 101-32-3-b-4 of the Code relating to One-Hour Meter Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On East Wisconsin Avenue from North Water Street to North Cass Street from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Except Saturday and Sunday”
“On the north side of East Wisconsin Avenue from North Broadway to North Jackson Street from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Except Saturday and Sunday”
“On the south side of East Wisconsin Avenue from North Water Street to North Jefferson Street from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Except Saturday and Sunday”
“On the south side of East Wisconsin Avenue from North Jackson Street to North Cass Street from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Except Saturday and Sunday”
Part 8. Section 101-32-3-b-5 of the Code relating to Two-Hour Meter Parking is amended by striking the following:
