Mr. Jones stated this contract is higher than the budget amount and Travaux will be asking to use the contingency to cover some of the costs. Mr. Jones continued that approximately 91 percent of this project is bid out and this will put it over budget. Mr. Jones also responded to Directors as to what this award will do to the contingency amount on the project. Travaux will be asking for half of $1.8 million of the funds for these bids. WHEREAS, Travaux Inc. solicited sealed bids by Official Notice Number 58003 during the period July 13, 2020 through July 27, 2020 for Concrete Crawlspaces and Slabs On Grade (Blocks 12, 14, and 17) for Phase 4B Townhomes at Westlawn Gardens Phase 2; and

WHEREAS, two sealed bids were received by the deadline of 2:00 PM (CDST) on July 27, 2020; and

WHEREAS,  the sealed  bids were received and publicly opened on July 27, 2020, during which bidding procedure was conducted in compliance with the requirements of local, state, and federal regulations; and

WHEREAS, De Arteaga Inc., a qualified and competent bidder, submitted the lowest responsive and responsible bid in the amount of $900,000.00; therefore, be it,

RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of Travaux Inc. that they hereby authorize and approve accepting the bid of and entering into a contract with De Arteaga Inc. for Concrete Crawlspaces and Slabs On Grade (Blocks 12, 14, and 17) for Phase 4B Townhomes at Westlawn Gardens Phase 2; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that funds for these services will come from Westlawn Gardens Phase VI (Phase 4B Townhomes) Mixed Financing; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of Travaux Inc. be and hereby are authorized and directed to properly execute said contract for and on behalf of Travaux Inc.; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that if any extensions of the time of performance are needed the officers of Travaux Inc. may approve such request without any further action of the Board of Directors of Travaux Inc.; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that all of above is contingent upon receiving the approval of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, if required; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that all acts previously performed relative to this matter by the Board of Directors of Travaux Inc. and the officers of Travaux Inc. be and hereby are approved, ratified, and confirmed in all respects.
