WHEREAS, Travaux Inc. solicited sealed bids by Official Notice Number 58001 during the period July 10, 2020 through July 24, 2020 for Elevator Modernization (MP-18) at Merrill Park; and
WHEREAS, one sealed bid was received by the deadline of 2:00 PM (CDST) on July 24, 2020; and
WHEREAS, the sealed bid was received and publicly opened on July 24, 2020, during which the bidding procedure was conducted in compliance with the requirements of local, state, and federal regulations; and
WHEREAS, Ascend Elevator LLC, a qualified and competent bidder, submitted the lowest responsive and responsible bid in the amount of $513,250.00; therefore, be it,
RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of Travaux Inc. that it hereby authorizes and approves accepting the bid of and entering into a contract with Ascend Elevator LLC for Elevator Modernization (MP-18) for Remodeling at Merrill Park; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that funds for these services will come from Merrill Park Mixed-Financing; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of Travaux Inc. be and hereby are authorized and directed to properly execute said contract for and on behalf of Travaux Inc.; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that if any extensions of the time of performance are needed the officers of Travaux Inc. may approve such request without any further action of the Board of Directors Travaux Inc.; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that all of above is contingent upon receiving the approval of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, if required; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that all acts previously performed relative to this matter by the Board of Directors of Travaux Inc. and the officers of Travaux Inc. be and hereby are approved, ratified, and confirmed in all respects.
