Analysis
This resolution authorizes an easement for below and above ground electrical equipment on a City-owned property.
Body
Whereas, Wisconsin Electric Power Company, doing business as We Energies, is requesting a ten foot wide by ten foot long permanent easement (“Easement”)on the City-owned property at 2702-R South 60th Street; and
Whereas, The Easement will facilitate upgraded service requested by Department of Public Works (“DPW”) for traffic signal service in the nearby Right of Way; and
Whereas, A copy of the Easement and related map is attached to this Common Council File; and
Whereas, We Energies agrees to pay $1,000 for the Easement; and
Whereas, The Department of City Development has reviewed the Easement and recommends approval; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Easement with Wisconsin Electric Power Company at the City-owned property at 2702-R South 60th Street is approved and that the proper City of Milwaukee officials are authorized to execute the Easement.
