The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 320-43-2-a of the code is amended to read:
320-43. Frank P. Zeidler Public Service Award Selection Committee.
2. DUTIES. a. The committee shall determine the nomination procedure, nomination criteria, selection process and criteria, type of award and award presentation for the Frank P. Zeidler public service award, which [[shall]] >>may<< be an annual award that recognizes up to 2 city residents, who are not elected officials, that best exemplify Frank P. Zeidler’s legacy of social justice and civic accomplishment.
