Motion amending the schedule of regular meetings of the Common Council and its standing committees for the year 2020.

Analysis

This motion amends the schedule of regular meetings of the Common Council and its standing committees, as approved by Common Council File Number 190824, beginning June 1, 2020, as follows:

1.                     All meetings of the Steering and Rules Committee, except for that on September 20, 2020, are moved from the Thursday of the first week of the committee cycle to the Monday of the first week of the committee cycle, beginning at 9 a.m.

2.                     The committee cycle in July 2020 is made regular as the Democratic National Convention has been postponed until August.

It is moved, by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the amended calendar of Common Council and committee meetings as depicted in the attached calendar is approved.
