Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council. The City cost for engineering these projects is estimated to be $911,000 with the total cost estimated to be $10,969,000.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:

1st Aldermanic District

N. Sherman Blvd. (east side) - W. Fairmount Ave. to W. Villard Ave. (WT410210627) Relaying water main and Lead Replacement of Service. (Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 5010 -- $2,500; Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 6410 -- $22,500). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $340,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2021 construction season.

W. Thurston Ave. - N. 36th St. to N. 40th St. (WT410210630) Relaying water main. (Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 5010 -- $2,500; Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 6410 -- $22,500). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $335,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2021 construction season.

N. 35th St. - W. Silver Spring Dr. to W. Oriole Dr. (WT410210631) Relaying water main. (Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 5010 -- $3,000; Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 6410 -- $27,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $425,000. ...
