Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the
City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On the east side of North 51st Street from West Wright Street to a point 45 feet north”
“On the east side of North 51st Street from West Wright Street to a point 75 feet south”
“On the west side of N. 51st Street from W. Wright Street to a point 50 feet north thereof at any time”
“On North Jackson Street from East Kilbourn Avenue to East Ogden Avenue during Department of Public Works Snow Operations from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM”
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On North Jackson Street from East Kilbourn Avenue to East Ogden Avenue during Snow Emergency
On the south side of West Wood Avenue from South 20th Street to a point 50 feet east
On the west side of South 3rd Street from South Chase Avenue to a point 90 feet south
On the east side of South 20th Street from a point 945 feet south of West Wood Avenue to a point 30 feet south thereof
On the west side of North 91st Street from West Wisconsin Avenue to a point 110 feet south
Part 3. Section 101-23-4-a of the Code relating to Fifteen-Minute Parking is amended by adding the following:
On North Broadway from East St. Paul Avenue to a point 75 feet south for southbound center aisle parking from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Saturday
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On North Broadway from East St. Paul Avenue to East Menomonee Street on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM”
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On North Broadway from East Menomonee Street to East Buffalo Street on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
On North Broadway from East Buffalo Street to East St. Paul Avenue for northbound center aisle parking from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On North Broadway from East Buffalo Street to a point 325 feet north for southbound center aisle parking from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On North Broadway from East St. Paul Avenue to a point 75 feet south for southbound center aisle parking from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
Part 6. Section 101-23-10-a of the Code relating to No Parking During Winter Months is amended by striking the following:
“On the south side of West Kilbourn Avenue from North 35th Street to North 38th Street”
Part 7. Section 101-23-10-a of the Code relating to No Parking During Winter Months is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of West Kilbourn Avenue from North 37th Street to North 38th Street
On the south side of the alley behind the property of 5336 West Midland Drive
Part 8. Section 101-24-1 of the Code relating to Tow-Away Zones is amended by striking the following:
“On North Jackson Street from East Kilbourn Avenue to East Ogden Avenue during Department of Public Works Snow Operations from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM”
Part 9. Section 101-24-1 of the Code relating to Tow-Away Zones is amended by adding the following:
On North Jackson Street from East Kilbourn Avenue to East Ogden Avenue during Snow Emergency
Part 10. Section 101-32-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Fifteen-Minute Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On North Broadway from East St. Paul Avenue to a point 75 feet south for southbound center aisle parking from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM Monday through Friday
Part 11. Section 101-32-3-b-5 of the Code relating to Two-Hour Meter Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On North Broadway from East St. Paul Avenue to East Menomonee Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday”
Part 12. Section 101-32-3-b-5 of the Code relating to Two-Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On North Broadway from East Menomonee Street to East Buffalo Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
On North Broadway from East Buffalo Street to East St. Paul Avenue for northbound center aisle parking from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
On North Broadway from East Buffalo Street to a point 325 feet north for southbound center aisle parking from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
On North Broadway from East St. Paul Avenue to a point 75 feet south for southbound center aisle parking from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
Part 13. Section 101-32-3-b-7 of the Code relating to Five-Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of West McKinley Avenue from North Old World Third Street to a point 105 feet east from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday through Saturday
