Title
A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2020 offices and positions in the City Service.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance changes the offices and positions in the following departments:
Health Department, Municipal Court, Police Department, Department of Public Works (Administrative Services, Water Works)
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 190614 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under “Health Department, Empowering Families of Milwaukee”, add one position of “Health Project Coordinator - Men’s Health (X)(UU)”, add one position of “Health Project Assistant - Men’s Health (X)(UU)”, and add footnote “(UU)” to read as follows:
“(UU)” To expire 3/31/24 unless the Health Start Grant is extended”.
Part 2. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 190614 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 23, 2018 - November 4, 2018):
Under “Police Department, Records Management Section”, delete one position of “Microfilm Technician” and add one position of “Document Technician”.
Under “Criminal Investigation Bureau, Violent Crimes Division”, delete one position of “Administrative Assistant I” and add one position of “Administrative Assistant III”.
Part 3. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 190614 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 5, 2019 - February 24, 2019):
Under “Department of Public Works- Administrative Services Division, Contract Administration”, delete one position of “Program Assistant I” and add one position of “Human Resources Assistant”.
Part 4. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 190614 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 24, 2019 - November 17, 2019):
Under “Municipal Court, Management and Administration”, delete one position of “Assistant Court Administrator”, delete one position of “IT Support Services Supervisor”, add one position of “Deputy Court Administrator”, and add one position of “Court IT Manager”.
Under “Department of Public Works - Water Works, Business Organization, Technical Services”, delete one position of “Programmer Analyst” and add one position of “Database Associate”.
Part 5. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 6. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 23, 2018 (November 4, 2018).
Part 7. The provisions of Part 3 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 5, 2019 (February 24, 2019).
Part 8. The provisions of Part 4 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 24, 2019 (November 17, 2019).
The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication.
Part 9. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
