Minutes note: Appearing: ACA Nichole Larsen Amy Turim and Deborah McCollum Gathing Steph O'Connor Erika Martinez Mr. Keir Jones and Mrs. Stephanie Jones on behalf of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Inc. The Greater Bethlehem Baptist Church, Inc. entity does not have any outstanding Municipal Court Debts. However, Greater Bethlehem Baptist Church, Inc. was administratively dissolved in June 2015. If the application is approved, the property will go back into the name of an entity that does not legally exist in the state of Wisconsin. Mr. Jones personally has outstanding building code violations jusgments in two cases: if payment is received by 11/25/19 $3,280.21 if payment is received by 12/26/19 $3,287.76 Ald. Johnson moved that Mr. Jones' personal municipal court judgments do not be part of the consideration for the return of this property to the Greater Bethlehem Baptist Church, Inc. There were no objections.

Body
Whereas, The property located at 1457 N 35th street, previously owned by Greater Bethlehem Baptist Church Inc.,(Application made by keir Jones), has delinquent taxes for 2016-2018 and was foreclosed upon pursuant to Sec. 75.521, Wis. Stats., and a fee simple absolute was obtained in favor of the City of Milwaukee dated September 23, 2019 191044; and

Whereas, Greater Bethlehem Baptist Church Inc.,(Application made by keir Jones) would like to reclaim said property by paying all City and County real estate taxes, plus accrued interest and penalties to date of payment, and all costs as sustained by the City in the foreclosing and management of said property since September 23, 2019; and

Whereas, Greater Bethlehem Baptist Church Inc.,(Application made by keir Jones) has agreed to pay all related city charges up until the point that the property is returned, as well as all charges and conditions which are detailed in the letters submitted by the Department of Neighborhood Services, Department of City Development, the Health Department and the Treasurer’s Office, as though set forth in this resolution; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that in order to return the property at 1457 N 35th street, a cashier's check must be submitted in the amount indicated by the City Treasurer within thirty (30) calendar days of the adoption of this resolution; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the City Attorney is then authorized to enter into a stipulation with the former owner to reopen and vacate the City's judgment in Milwaukee Count...
