Resolution determining it necessary to make various nonassessable public improvements at various locations and appropriating funds for these purposes with the City engineering cost estimated to be $194,000 for a total estimated cost of these projects being $4,483,000.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council. The City cost for engineering these projects is estimated to be $194,000 with the total cost estimated to be $4,483,000.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:
4th Aldermanic District
E. Mason St. - N. Broadway to N. Milwaukee St. (SM495190030) Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $12,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $96,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2020 construction season.
6th Aldermanic District
W. Burleigh St. - N. 14th St. to N. Teutonia Ave. (SM495190042) Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $12,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $169,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2020 construction season.
N. Teutonia Ave. - W. Nash St. to N. 21st St. (SM495190041) Relaying storm sewer.
(Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $15,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $359,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2020 construction season.
W. Vienna Ave. - N. 19th Pl. to N. 20th St. (SM495190034) Relaying storm sewer.
(Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $12,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $146,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2020 construction season.
N. 15th St. - W. Burleigh St. to 200’ south of W. Ring St. (SM495190035) Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $12,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $208,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2021 construction season.
N. 16th St. - W. Burleigh St. to W. Ring St. (SM495190043) Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $12,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $268,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2020 construction season.
N. 21st. St. - W. Melvina St. to N. Teutonia Ave. (SM495190038) Relaying storm sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $12,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $82,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2020 construction season.

The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $277,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2020 construction season.
W. Senator Ave. - 270’ east of N. 33rd St. to N. 33rd St. (SM495190039) Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $12,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $153,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2020 construction season.
N. 33rd St. - W. Burleigh St. to W. Auer Ave. (SM495190037) Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $12,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $235,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2020 construction season.

S. 41st St. - W. Forest Home Ave. to W. Oklahoma Ave. (SM495190031) Relaying storm sewer. Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $15,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $302,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2020 construction season.
Area Bounded By: S. 27th St.; S. 44th St.; W. Montana St.and W. Ohio Ave. (SM494190024) Sanitary Sewer lining. (Infiltration/Inflow Reduction Fund -- $20,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $1,760,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2020 construction season.

W. Carpenter Ave. - S. 26th St. to S. 27th St. (WT410200687) Relaying water main. (Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 5010 -- $3,000; Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 6410 -- $12,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $100,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2020 construction season.

Further Resolved, That all City Departments are authorized to perform engineering, surveys, plan preparation, and determine an estimated cost thereof; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Department of Public Works is authorized to use the funding as specified in the above description of work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
