Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the
City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by striking the following:
“On the east side of N. Plankinton Avenue from W. Wisconsin Avenue to W. Wells Street from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. except Saturday and Sunday”
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On the east side of North 16th Street from West Center Street south to the alley, at any time”
Part 3. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the north side of West Blue Mound Road from North 89th Street to a point 60 feet east
On the south side of West Greenfield Avenue from a point 230 feet west of South Layton Boulevard to a point 150 feet west thereof
On the west side of North 11th Street from West Mc Kinley Avenue to the dead end south of West Juneau Avenue
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of North Plankinton Avenue from West Wisconsin Avenue to West Wells Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday
Part 5. Section 101-23-10-a of the Code relating to No Parking During Winter Months is amended by striking the following:
“On the east side of South 14th Street from East Cleveland Avenue to the dead end south thereof”
“On the north side of East Boylston Street from North Warren Avenue to North Cambridge Avenue”
“On the north side of East Ivanhoe Place from North Summit Avenue to North Lake Drive”
“On the north side of East Ivanhoe Place from North Lake Drive to North Terrace Avenue except Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.”
“On the north side of East Lafayette Place from North Bartlett Avenue to North Summit Avenue”
“On the east side of North Lake Drive from East Lafayette Place to East North Avenue”
“On the north side of East Royal Place from North Farwell Avenue to North Prospect Avenue”
“On the west side of North Terrace Avenue from East Lafayette Place to East Kenilworth Place”
“On the west side of North Terrace Avenue from East Kenilworth Place to East Wyoming Place except Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.”
“On the west side of North Terrace Avenue from East Wyoming Place to East North Avenue”
Part 6. Section 101-24-1 of the Code relating to Tow-Away Zones is amended by striking the following:
“On the east side of N. Plankinton Avenue from W. Wisconsin Avenue to W. Wells Street from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. except Saturday and Sunday”
Part 7. Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Side Night Parking is amended by adding the following:
On East Ward Street from East Lincoln Avenue to South Kinnickinnic Avenue
Part 8. Section 101-32-3-d-3 of the Code relating to Two-Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of North Plankinton Avenue from West Wisconsin Avenue to West Wells Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
