Analysis
This resolution directs the installation and construction of certain public improvements which have been determined to be nonassessable by the Commissioner of Public Works. The City cost of the projects approved by this resolution is estimated to be $7,771,000. The total estimated cost of these projects is $8,645,000.

Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and
Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:
2nd and 5th Aldermanic Districts
Area bounded by W. Congress St. to W. Villard Ave. to N. 60th St. to N. 91st St. (SM494180036) File Number 181118: (Infiltration/Inflow Reduction Fund -- $2,669,000). Sanitary Sewer lining. The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $2,689,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2019 construction season.

N. Arlington Pl. - N. Warren Ave. to 130’ +/- north of N. Warren Ave. (SM495190016) File Number 190285: Combined sewer lining. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $5,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $15,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2019 construction season.

(TID - 37 nonassessable funds-- $440,000). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $500,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2019 construction season.
W. St. Paul Ave.-N. 6th St. to N. Vel R. Philips Ave. (SM495190013) File Number 181686: Combined sewer lining. Combined sewer repair. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $50,000 additional funds). The total estimated cost of this project including the requested amount is $166,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2019 construction season.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Department of Public Works is authorized to use the funding as specified in the above description of work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
