Title

A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2019 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service.

Analysis

This substitute ordinance changes the rates of pay in the following departments:

Health Department

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1.  Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 180628 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 14, 2019 - June 30, 2019):

 

Under Pay Range 1AX, add the title “Health Project Supervisor - DADS”.

 

Under Pay Range 1FX, delete the titles “Business Operations Manager - Health”, “Family and Community Health Operations Manager (6)”, and delete footnote “(6)” in its entirety.

 

Under Pay Range 1GX, add the title “Health Data and Evaluation Director (2) (11)” and create the following footnote “(11)”:

 

“(11)                      If position is held by Angela Hagy, rates consistent with Pay Range 1JX to be paid.”

 

Under Pay Range 1HX, add footnote designation “(2)” to the title “Finance and Administration Manager”.

 

Under Pay Range 1IX, add the titles “Clinic Operations Director (2)”, “Home Environmental Health Director (2)”, “Maternal and Child Health Director (2)”, and delete the title “Family and Community Health Services Director”.

 

Under Pay Range 1JX, add the titles “Deputy Commissioner of Community Health (2)”, “Deputy Commissioner of Environmental Health (2)”, “Deputy Commissioner of Policy, Innovation and Evaluation (2)”, and delete the title “Public Health Planning and Policy Director”.

 

Under Pay Range 1KX, delete the title “Health Operations Administrator”.

 

Under Pay Range 1LX, add the title “Chief Deputy Commissioner of Health (2)” and create the following footnote “(2)”:

 

“(2)                      Recruitment may be at any rate in the pay range with the approval of DER and the Chair of the Committee on Finance and Personnel.”

 

Under Pay Range 1OX, add the title “Deputy Commissioner of Medical Services (1)”.

 

Part 2.  Part 1, Section 5 of ordinance File Number 180628 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 14, 2019 - June 30, 2019):

 

Under Pay Range 5FN, add the title “Clinic Office Coordinator (2)”.

 

Part 3.  All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

 

Part 4.  The provisions of Parts 1 and 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 14, 2019 (June 30, 2019).

 

The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication.

 

Part 5.  This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
