Whereas, The street was constructed with concrete in 1964 and is in need of rehabilitation; and

Whereas, The project is included in the Department of Public Works High Impact Resurface Program; and

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee and Village of West Milwaukee share jurisdiction ownership of the roadway and will share the construction costs; and

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee will be the lead agency of the project design and construction; and

Whereas, This project is programmed for construction in 2019-2021; and

Whereas, Funding for the construction phase of the project was included in resolution 181862 (ST214190101); now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Commissioner of Public works is hereby authorized to execute the project agreement titled “Cost Sharing Memo of Understanding Between the City of Milwaukee and the Village of West Milwaukee” for the cost sharing of the high impact asphalt surface overlay of West Lincoln Avenue from South 35th Street to west of South 43rd Street copies of which are attached to Common Council Resolution File Number , and are incorporated by reference as though set forth in full.
