Body
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee (“City”) Department of Public Works (“DPW”) requested an easement needed for underground conduit facilities located on 3116 North Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive; and
Whereas, The easement area is in lands owned by the City; and
Whereas, The City Department of City Development (“DCD”) is willing to grant Underground Conduit Easement UG-40-A and UG-40-B to DPW giving DPW permission to enter the property and to construct, operate, maintain, inspect and repair underground conduit facilities within the easement area on terms and conditions negotiated by DCD and DPW; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officials, including the DPW Commissioner, are hereby authorized: (i) to accept Underground Conduit Easement UG-40-A and UG-40-B, for substantially the same area as submitted in Exhibit A, a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File, and to effectuate the intent of this resolution and (ii) to sign the easement documents and cause the same to be recorded in the Milwaukee County Register of Deeds Office.
