Substitute resolution relative to legislative bills.

Whereas, The Judiciary and Legislation Committee of the Common Council has recommended the following positions on the bills hereinafter listed and the Common Council being advised of said matters; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it hereby approves the following legislative bills and instructs the Division of Intergovernmental Relations to appear before the proper committees to support such bill and use its best endeavors to have the same enacted into law, viz:
AB-65/SB-73 Relating to: prohibiting the sale of vapor products to minors and the purchase of those products by minors.
AB-119/SB-122 Relating to: grants to homeless shelters, modifying administrative rules promulgated by the Department of Administration, and making an appropriation.
AB-120/SB-145 Relating to: homelessness case management services and making an appropriation.
AB-121/SB-120 Relating to: housing navigator grants and making an appropriation.
AB-122/SB-124 Relating to: employment and training activities for homeless populations, the Council on Workforce Investment, and local workforce development boards.
AB-123/SB-119 Relating to: housing grants to homeless individuals and families and making an appropriation.
AB-124/SB-144 Relating to: grants to defray housing costs and for diversion programming and making an appropriation.
AB-144/SB-123 Relating to: skills enhancement grants and making an appropriation.
LRB-0408/1 Relating to: an elector using a W-2 form to establish residence.

Further Resolved, That the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee is opposed to the following legislative bills and hereby instructs the Division of Intergovernmental Relations to appear before the proper committees in opposition to said bills and use its best endeavors in opposition to the same ...
